I can’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t inspired by music. I was raised in a house where great music played loudly—the Beatles, James Taylor, Carole King, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel. Ten years ago, I believed I could make music my career, but somewhere along the way, I stopped writing because it wasn’t “practical.” During the last two years, I’ve experienced the way life moves outside your control in a way that brings you to your knees. These changes remind me: life is short, spend your time on things that spark your passion. I write about what I know: life, love, loss, faith, fear, hope—universal things that encourage us to move beyond just ourselves and hold fast to truth. I hope you find something here that resonates with you too.
